    There are lots of whiny snowflakes, woke clowns, cancel culture basement dwellers hating on this movie. Don’t listen to the whining and get the movie. It’s great from start to finish.

    Wow!!! I don’t know how this series does it? Every film on the franchise is better than the last one. But more than that, this film builds on a story arc that began in Mission: Impossible 3, and carried through Rogue Nation… concluding with this film. It was nice seeing several heroes and villains from the previous films carry over into this one. Sean Harris is a worthy nemesis for Tom Cruise, and it was wonderful seeing Michelle Monaghan share scenes with Rebecca Ferguson (closing out Julia Hunt’s character arc). The stunts are impressive as always, and I love that iTunes presented the HALO jump and helicopter chase sequences with the proper IMAX framing, which really heightened the impact. Most of the film is presented in the 2.40:1 Scope format, but those scenes transition to 1.77:1 to show them in their full 70mm glory as intended by the director. (Here’s hoping iTunes takes note and finally provides Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol in this variable aspect ratio). I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I watched this film.

    Tom Cruise was fantastic in this blockbuster action flick. All of the cast was great and the action scenes and really well choronegraphed and entertaining to watch. like the first one this one is a true gem and twist by twist keeps you running don't you think?
