The Time Tunnel, Season 1

Description

The scientists of Project Tic Toc believe the control of time is potentially the most valuable treasure that man will ever find. Located beneath the Arizona desert, the ten-year project's focus is the feasibility of time travel. But when the government reconsiders the project, the scientists have only 24 hours to prove their untested "Time Tunnel" will actually work. Determined to save the project, Dr. Tony Newman and Dr. Doug Phillips go through the tunnel and quickly find themselves catapulted from one historical event to another, barely escaping with their lives as their colleagues back in Arizona race to figure out a way to bring them back home.

By hate having to HAVE a nickname

Loved this show when I was a kid and tried to tell some friends about it a few years ago, but no one remembered the show. Now I have proof and it will be fun seeing these shows again. Thanks...hope the next seasons will be out soon! Does anyone remember the Land of the Giants...??? I think that was the name of the show. I'd love to see that show added.

This series is just plain fun and you get to learn something along the way “At Times”. This show was like iRobot for Time Travelers, in that it introduced us to the ideas and concepts of time travel and the risks and rules associated. iRobot introduced us to the concepts of six basic rules that defined the capabilities and responsibilities of Robots. I know you all will love it. Thank you iTunes for having this series.

What makes Time Tunnel so great is that everything about it is done so poorly. Cheap production, fakey sets, bad acting, and laughable dialog add up to terrific television! I love Time Tunnel!

possibly the cheesiest thing i have ever seen. the acting was bad, the storylines were the same..(go to an important historical event, try to warn the people of disaster, get locked in prison...or something like that). the only reason i ever watched this is because my dad made me watch it. the only reason i am giving this ANY stars at all is because it is fun to laugh at all the crap that they do...and realize that some people actually watched this.

The lack of any real acting talent, lots of stock footage from every Irwin Allen production, left over props from several SiFi shows and a bizarre plot to steal Earth's protein can make for an entertaining evening.

This episode very rarely appears on tv. Very scary episode because we receive the exact same brainwashing every day with advertising. It is excellent because it makes you use your mind in life instead of playing video games.

Gawd, I used to run to the TV and plop myself down in front of it as a 5-year-old kid, mesmerized by this show. It had military, it had secret bases, it had aliens, it had time travel...what more could a kid in the 60s want? More than 30 years later, I tuned in to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine to see him crooning as hologram character Vic Fontaine. As cheesy as the effects seem today, I always seemed to connect with the characters. It's a treat to have the show back through iTunes.
