Loosely based on JoJo's life, "The J Team" is the story of a young girl who, when kicked off her beloved dance team, is forced to rediscover what dance and friendship mean to her, all the while finding her true "Sparkle" in the process.

I can tolerate JoJo Siwa outside of Nickelodeon but this movie is just awful. This is just a painfully unrealistic musical with a terrible coach antagonist that is completely stereotypical of JoJo’s lifestyle. This is just another cash in to marketing by the executives of Nickelodeon Studios. Kids may be obsessed with it, but anyone older will despise it.
