    This is one of Joan Crawford's best,it's not "Mildred Peirce" of a movie,but her performance is just as good if not better,Itunes please get her films "Mildred Peirce" "Possessed"(1947&1931), "Female on the beach" , "Forsaking all others" "A woman's Face" thank you!

    Some good movies are kind of bad, some bad movies are kind of good, this is one of them. Who would tire of watching Joan Crawford claw her way to the top? After facing tragedy, shockingly, she faces greater tragedy. This movie is juicy/sleezy. Worth it's weight in shoulder pads. Enjoy!
