What an incredible treat to be able to experience the appreciation each director has for each other and the art of making films. If you LOVE films and the ART of filmmaking, you simply must watch this series. There are so many surprises and I find ways to apply their advise and approach to other pursuits in life.

I love the episode featuring Guillermo Del Toro; the questions and manner in which the interview is conducted is very moving and personal. I really love the segment where other directors ask questions as well. This is a fantastic series; I wish it aired on HBO or a similar network so I could actually watch it on TV. Nevertheless the 2.99 paid for one episode was worth it! I learned so much about about Del Toro as not only and artist and director, but on a personal level as well. This is the perfect series for filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers who want know more about a director and their personality— without having to sit through mundane and impersonal interviews on YouTube. Well done Mr. Robert Rodriguez, well done.

These episodes are amazing to watch as an emerging filmmaker. To see what these top directors did for different situations is inspiring and educational, and helps me think like a top director on my projects. I'd recommend any filmmaker to watch every episode and dive into this amazing knowledge passed down by the greats. I rewatch the John Carpenter and Quinten Tarrentino episodes on a regular basis.
